Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with established clinical standards and protocols

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for therapeutic responses and adverse reactions

• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the medical record

• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or a compact state

• Current BLS certification

• Prior experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large acute care or regional medical facility

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

• ACLS certification
