Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, temporary, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit
- Monitor and assess patient health status, documenting findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
- Educate patients and families about post-discharge care
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current RN license in Indiana
- Proven experience in Medical Surgical nursing or similar setting
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working night shifts
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced healthcare environments
