Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality diagnostic CT imaging services under the general guidance of radiologists and radiology leadership, maintaining a patient-focused approach.

• Demonstrate current knowledge and competency in CT imaging, performing at a level that supports independent thought and clinical action.

• Apply critical thinking skills when managing patients, ensuring appropriate care based on individual patient needs and age-specific considerations.

• Operate CT scanning equipment including 16-slice and 64-slice CT scanners, PACS hardware, and independent diagnostic workstations.

• Collaborate effectively within a small team environment during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) required.

• Active Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology required.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

• Demonstrated ability to perform age-specific patient assessments and communicate effectively with patients across all age groups.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience operating multi-slice CT scanners in a clinical radiology setting.

• Familiarity with PACS systems and radiology information management terminals.

• Experience working in a fast-paced radiology department with a collaborative team structure.
