- Full-time, Day shift (8 hours per shift), 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
- Provide outpatient physical therapy services to patients, supporting recovery and functional improvement.
- Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately using electronic health records (Epic).
- Float between units within the hospital as needed, including critical care, emergency, and maternity departments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license or pending licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant outpatient or acute care experience.
- Ability to accurately chart using Epic electronic health record system.
- Must have reliable transportation and a vehicle for travel between facilities.
- Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
- References covering at least 1 year of clinical practice are required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in short-term acute care or hospital settings.
- Familiarity with Epic documentation and inpatient treatment protocols.
- Ability to float between different hospital units and affiliate facilities.
