Registered Nurse Oncology

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology / Endocrine Clinic

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Day shifts (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult oncology and endocrine patients, including those diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, hemoglobinopathies, and other hematologic conditions.
• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and documentation using the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Support the daily census of 80-100 adult patients across 16 patient rooms.
• Maintain compliance with safety and clinical protocols, including mandatory BLS certification.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a license with a valid compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in oncology nursing.
• BLS certification; ACLS and OCN preferred.
• Experience with adult patient populations and hematologic diagnoses.
• Proficiency utilizing the EPIC documentation system.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with patients diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, or related hematologic disorders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high patient volume.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Notes:

• Travel compliance is strictly enforced; candidates must complete fingerprinting promptly to avoid delays.
• Candidates outside Ohio within driving distance must be prepared to visit a fingerprinting location immediately after booking. Those mailed fingerprinting packets should complete them urgently upon receipt.
• RTO (Return to Office) must be built into the contract.
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a managerial or leadership position.
• Candidates currently outside Ohio or who have been away from the facility for over 6 months are eligible.
• Locals are accepted at the same rate.
