Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Night Shift)

Location
• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to patients within the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, floating as needed within equivalent or lower acuity units.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform IV starts and telehealth protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and safety.
• Maintain documentation accurately and comply with hospital policies.
• Adapt to potential assignments across multiple campuses and units, including float requirements.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• 1-2 years of experience in PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with IV starts and telehealth procedures.
• Ability to float within units and across campuses as needed.
• Familiarity with patient ratios of 1:3-4.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in a multi-campus hospital environment.
• Strong clinical skills in critical care patient management.
• Ability to respond effectively to patient care needs in high-pressure situations.
