Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient nursing care to high-risk breast cancer patients in a clinical setting
• Conduct telephone triage, assist with new patient calls regarding breast cancer diagnosis
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative drain care
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with the healthcare team throughout the treatment process
• Support patient education and follow-up to ensure optimal outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of experience in outpatient/ambulatory clinics, oncology (inpatient or outpatient), or relevant healthcare setting
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records system
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology experience, especially in surgical or breast cancer clinics
• ONC certification (preferred but not required)
• Experience working at a fast-paced outpatient clinic

Additional Details

• The position is primarily based at the Edmonds clinic with occasional floating to the First Hill and Issaquah clinics
• Training week will be held at the First Hill Clinic (1221 Madison Street, 6th Floor)
• No weekends, no holidays, no call required
• Candidates from other Providence facilities with an active license and at least 3 months separation are eligible for travel contracts; locals within 50 miles are not eligible
• Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• References: Two recent references covering at least 1 year of employment (6 months for CNAs) are required prior to start
