- Full-time, contract, days, 4x10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery care in the PACU according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess patient status, and respond to clinical changes promptly.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient recovery.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
- Manage after-hours and weekend cases as required, including call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license (pending license acceptance is allowed with prior licensure).
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PACU or ICU experience; 2 years preferred.
- Ability to pass cardiac dysrhythmia and moderate sedation tests during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent EPIC electronic medical record experience.
- Previous PACU or perioperative nursing experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
