Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown, Nights, 12-Hour Shifts

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, or Stepdown units
• Titrate vasopressors, sedation medications, and insulin drips
• Manage ventilated patients, including trach vents and ventilator management
• Monitor and maintain art lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system

Required Qualifications

• Valid State Nursing License at the time of submission (Missouri license or valid compact license in own state)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting
• Experience with titration of pressors, insulin drips, and ventilator management
• Certifications: ACLS and BCLS required at the time of submission
• Current NSN and ability to pass compliance requirements including facial hair testing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent bedside experience in a specialized stepdown or IMC unit within the last 6 months
• EPIC electronic health record system experience
• Ability to float to lower acuity floors within scope of practice

Additional Notes

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12 hours per week
• No local candidates within a 75-mile radius accepted; relocation or travel eligibility required
• Travel compliance and licensing deadlines must be met prior to start
• Certifications and references required at submission; all travel candidates must complete Modules via WorkRamp before start
• Travel contracts are typically 13 weeks, with the option to extend; maximum 7 days of RTO encouraged per contract
• No medical marijuana cards accepted; background checks required prior to placement
