Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Night Shift

• Belleville, IL

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care nursing services in the ICU, including assisting with line insertions, intubations, and hypothermia protocols
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients utilizing the hospital’s EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
• Administer CRRT / CVVHD as needed and support hospital initiatives for patient safety and outcomes
• Float within the scope of ICU and IMCU units to meet unit needs, maintaining flexibility within hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license (compact licenses accepted but must verify ETA for new licenses if needed)
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Current ACLS, NIH, and BCLS certifications
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system and critical care procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or trauma-level hospital
• Familiarity with hypothermia protocols and CRRT/CVVHD management
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
