Key Responsibilities
- Assist with sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Maintain sanitation and sterilization protocols in accordance with hospital standards.
- Operate and troubleshoot sterilization equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
- Adhere to safety regulations and compliance procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Sterile Processing Technician or equivalent (state-specific).
- Demonstrated experience in sterile processing; travel or acute care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and hospital protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of recent sterile processing experience, specifically in acute care or trauma settings.
- Experience working in hospital environments that use Epic charting systems.
