Key Responsibilities

• Assist with sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sanitation and sterilization protocols in accordance with hospital standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot sterilization equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
• Adhere to safety regulations and compliance procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Sterile Processing Technician or equivalent (state-specific).
• Demonstrated experience in sterile processing; travel or acute care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and hospital protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of recent sterile processing experience, specifically in acute care or trauma settings.
• Experience working in hospital environments that use Epic charting systems.
