Registered Nurse Wound Care

Job Title

• Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shift (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care management to patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient progress accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in on-call duties as required (no on-call for this assignment)
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and maintain compliance with all clinical standards
• Ensure timely and effective patient care while maintaining high-quality service standards

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license (must be in hand)
• Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, including wound care
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Wound Care Certification or Wound Certification (WCON) required
• Valid SSN and DOB for compliance requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong wound care nursing skills with experience in acute care environments
• Prior travel or temporary hospital experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends (including Thursday-Saturday block schedule)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
