Job Title
• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Location
• Peoria, IL

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Nights, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population.
• Titrate drips such as Heparin and manage medications as ordered.
• Monitor patients remotely using telemetry equipment and respond to alarms as needed.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and other healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Adhere to department protocols and safety standards, including obtaining necessary certifications.

Required Qualifications
• Illinois RN license or active application confirmation.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to titrate and manage Heparin drips.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Experience with medical diagnosis patients such as sepsis, CHF, DVT, COVID, and other acute conditions.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Knowledge of telemonitoring systems and telemetry equipment (Phillips preferred).
• Ability to initiate IVs and perform inpatient blood draws.
