- Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
Location
- Glenview, IL
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and surgical patients in a telemetry unit
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient condition regularly
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
- Ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare standards during shift
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license
- ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS certifications
- Must have experience caring for orthopedic and surgical patients
- Ability to pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher
- Ability to complete orientation on Monday and pass an EKG exam on the first day
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting
- Flexibility to float to Highland Park, Evanston, or Skokie as needed
