Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures used in diagnosis and treatment, including chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, skull, spine, fluoroscopy, portable exams, and operating room procedures using C-arms.
- Evaluate radiographs for quality and ensure proper patient care throughout the procedure.
- Independently operate imaging equipment such as Fuji and GE digital radiography rooms, fluoroscopy units, portable systems, and C-arms.
- Follow departmental policies and state laws, ensuring compliance during all procedures.
- Assist in the provision of patient care and assume responsibility for designated imaging assignments.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience.
- Active ARRT RT(R) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently, including occasionally working alone.
- Experience with fluoroscopy and portable imaging equipment.
