Job Title

  • Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the treatment of patients with physical, emotional, mental, or developmental impairments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment programs focused on patient goals based on physician directives.
  • Support patients with rehabilitative activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment instructing residents and families on home programs and daily living skills.
  • Demonstrate clinical reasoning to monitor and evaluate patient progress.
  • Maintain punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and therapy goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current COTA license valid in the state of Oregon.
  • CPR certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Six months of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with healthcare team members.
  • Strong commitment to patient confidentiality and professional demeanor.
