Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinically comprehensive CT scans including contrast and non-contrast procedures for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients.
• Manage a variety of procedures such as chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, extremities, and CT-guided interventions.
• Explain procedures to patients and their families, answer questions, and help alleviate fears or anxieties related to imaging exams.
• Monitor and adhere to radiation safety protocols, utilizing lead shielding and best practices to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment including GE Lightspeed scanners, and utilize systems like Epic, GE AW Server, and OnePACS for image management and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification.
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of relevant CT imaging experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with hospital PACS and electronic medical records systems.
• Ability to work independently when needed, with flexibility to handle various call or weekend schedule requirements.
