Registered Nurse PACU

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

• Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized post-operative recovery care to patients in the PACU setting.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition continuously during recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient progress and recovery status accurately.
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or changes in patient condition.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PACU or similar specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Ability to work night shift hours (7 PM – 7 AM).
• Active RN license in the state of Georgia.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital or recovery setting with a fast-paced environment.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
