- Registered Nurse - PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
Location
- Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized post-operative recovery care to patients in the PACU setting.
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition continuously during recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient progress and recovery status accurately.
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or changes in patient condition.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PACU or similar specialty.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Ability to work night shift hours (7 PM – 7 AM).
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital or recovery setting with a fast-paced environment.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
