Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
- Assist with surgical procedures and ensure patient safety throughout
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgery
- Collaborate with surgical team to maintain sterile environment and proper protocol
- Document patient information and operative details accurately
- Follow all safety and compliance standards including certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in operating room nursing
- Active AHA BLS certification
- Active AHA ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification preferred or required
- Must be a licensed registered nurse (RN)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in outpatient surgical centers
- Familiarity with hospital and outpatient surgical protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
