Key Responsibilities
- Float between hospital units, providing pharmacy support for inpatient and outpatient services
- Prepare and dispense medications, including IV admixtures of non-hazardous medications
- Chart medication administration using Epic electronic health record system
- Maintain accurate medication documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe medication delivery
- Contribute to a high-quality patient care environment within a critical access hospital
Required Qualifications
- Valid Oregon pharmacy technician license (pending submissions allowed)
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician or related role
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic charting systems
- Ability to work day shifts, including weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Must have reliable transportation for the assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- IV medication preparation experience
- Prior hospital or critical access facility experience
- Familiarity with patient medication management and hospital workflows
