Registered Nurse Hospice

Job Title

• Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Dayshift, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing care to terminally ill patients in a home health/hospice setting.
• Assess patient needs, formulate and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient interactions and care using electronic charting systems such as EPIC or HCHB.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management.
• Coordinate and communicate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with all agency and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid WA or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission).
• Minimum 1 year of skilled hospice experience.
• Experience with HCHB or EPIC electronic health record systems.
• Current BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation for patient visits.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Home Care/Home Base experience.
• Ability to complete required compliance modules.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
