- Full-time, nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, adhering to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmias, and respond accordingly.
- Manage and titrate intravenous drips and medications as prescribed.
- Care for peripheral lines and PICC lines, ensuring proper management and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float between campuses as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, education, and certification requirements during onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license with current license in hand.
- Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in cardiac telemetry or stepdown units.
- Active ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
- Experience with cardiac tele and dysrhythmia management.
- Knowledge of peripheral line care, PICC line management, and medication titration.
- Experience working with PCU ratios of 1:5.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Epic electronic medical record experience.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting involving float assignments across multiple campuses.
