Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Night Shifts)

• Greensboro, NC

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, adhering to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmias, and respond accordingly.
• Manage and titrate intravenous drips and medications as prescribed.
• Care for peripheral lines and PICC lines, ensuring proper management and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float between campuses as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, education, and certification requirements during onboarding.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with current license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in cardiac telemetry or stepdown units.
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience with cardiac tele and dysrhythmia management.
• Knowledge of peripheral line care, PICC line management, and medication titration.
• Experience working with PCU ratios of 1:5.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Previous experience in a hospital setting involving float assignments across multiple campuses.
