Full-time, Nights (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit or Stepdown unit during night shifts.
• Monitor patient status, interpret EKGs, and manage cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications, including titrating drips and managing peripheral lines and PICC lines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Float between all Cone Health campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Experience in cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia management.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.
• Able to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in PCU or stepdown units.
• Ability to manage multiple patients with complex needs.
• Flexibility to float and adapt to different hospital campuses.
