- Travel, Days shift, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level nursing care to adult ICU patients in a 16-bed high acuity unit.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism.
- Monitor and treat complex medical conditions utilizing advanced skills and certifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience; 18 months considered if licensed at the highest professional level.
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, and NHI or Red Cross certifications.
- Associate degree in nursing or higher.
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS certification (preferred for those working in pediatric units).
- Additional ICU or high-acuity care experience.
