• Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 5 days per week (Sun-Thu)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and medical equipment in accordance with medical protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to sterilization processes and compliance requirements.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly before use.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding infection control and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to support efficient operating room workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing or a similar role.
• Certification from CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA.
• Active California state license required at the time of submission (temporary licenses not accepted).
• COVID-19 vaccination (no exemptions).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic charting systems is highly preferred.
• Experience working with hospital sterilization protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours and float within different hospital departments.
