Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 10-Hour Shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Weekend and On-Call Requirements Apply
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care within an Interventional Radiology setting, supporting both IR body and IR neuro procedures
- Assist with stroke, pulmonary embolism, lysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) procedures
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation in accordance with facility protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation, approximately 8–10 days per month, with required call radius response times
- Fulfill weekend rotation requirements, including one weekend per month (Friday through Monday AM) and third-man Saturday or Sunday coverage
- Adhere to holiday coverage requirements as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of IR and/or neuro experience
- Experience with stroke, PE, lysis, UFE, and moderate sedation procedures
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of IR and/or neuro nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency across a broad range of interventional and neuro procedures
