Tech IR/Special Procedures

Job Title

• Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures Technologist

• Winston-Salem, NC

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of neuro and body interventional radiology procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies
• Operate Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment, with preferred experience on Acuson systems
• Assist with procedures such as kyphoplasty, venous access, neurological studies, and contrast media administration
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with medical teams to provide expert imaging support for adult and geriatric patients, including stroke intervention

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of IR or special procedures experience in a hospital setting
• Valid NC (or Compact) license in Radiologic Technology
• BLS certification
• Active experience with neuro and inpatient IR procedures, PACS, and contrast use
• Proficiency with Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT Advanced Certification
• Experience with EPIC and McKesson systems
• Outpatient, OR, ER, trauma, or teaching hospital experience
• Familiarity with ablations and advanced interventional procedures
