Job Title

• Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Contract, Day shifts, 4x10 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of neuro and body interventional radiology procedures, including stents, angioplasty, biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies.
• Operate Siemens and Phillips X-ray equipment, with experience on Acuson preferred.
• Assist in procedures such as angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, and neurological studies, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care during inpatient and outpatient procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and documentation protocols, including charting in EPIC and McKesson systems.
• Adhere to scheduled call and on-call rotations, providing round-the-clock coverage as needed.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IR/Special Procedures experience in a hospital environment.
• Valid NC or Compact state license at time of start.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with neuro procedures and contrast imaging.
• Proficiency with Siemens and Phillips X-ray equipment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT Advanced Certification.
• Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson systems.
• Outpatient, OR, ER, trauma, or teaching hospital experience.
• Experience with ablations and working on multiple hospital units.
