Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
- Float between various units as needed to support patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using electronic health records.
- Work within established ratios to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington state license in occupational therapy (mandatory at the time of application).
- Acute care experience, with a preference for those with inpatient rehabilitation experience.
- Ability to float within the facility and work across multiple units.
- Current CPR certification.
- Pass travel compliance requirements, including submission of references and SSN last four digits.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level III trauma center or similar acute care environment.
- Familiarity with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic.
- Prior work at healthcare facilities associated with Providence or similar organizations.
- Strong communicate and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
