Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, including pre- and post-operative care, assessments, and patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Document patient information accurately in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) as needed with resources provided.
• Support unit operations during shift changes and emergencies.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Indiana (or eligible for licensure).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Strong Urology skillset, including IV starts and related procedures.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent hospital experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour days, with flexibility to float as required.
• Must have at least 3 out of 4 major certifications in Urology.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with surgical oncology, orthopedic oncology, or plastic surgery.
• Knowledge of specialty procedures such as hand irrigations and CBI.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system.
