Job Title

• Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures for both right and left heart catheterizations.
• Assist with peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately within hospital systems.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including STEMI and call policies, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
• Support patient education and post-procedure care as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Current BLS and RCIS certifications.
• Ability to perform both diagnostic and interventional procedures on the right and left heart.
• Strong clinical skills in peripheral procedures preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EKG/EP experience.
• Experience with advanced equipment such as GE labs, Impella, Balloon pumps, Penumbra, and IVUS.
• Familiarity with hospital documentation systems.
