Contract | Full-Time | On-Site | Days | 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting, supporting an average of 3 caths and 2 angios per day across 2 active labs with 6 pre/post beds

• Care for patients presenting with diagnoses including STEMI, stroke, drain placement, line placement, heart catheterizations, peripheral angios, IVC placement, and temporary pacemaker insertion

• Read and interpret telemetry strips and titrate IV drips with proficiency across a broad range of IV medications

• Collaborate with Cath Lab Technicians and charge nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient patient throughput

• Utilize Epic EMR and Philips monitoring equipment for documentation and patient monitoring

• Participate in on-call rotation, including 2–3 weeknights per week, every 3rd weekend, and 2 holidays per year

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Previous cardiac catheterization lab experience is required

• Demonstrated ability to read telemetry strips and titrate drips

• Strong working knowledge of IV medications used in cath lab and interventional settings

• Ability to comply with a drug-free workplace policy, including a negative drug screen for all panels

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with peripheral angiography cases

• Background in interventional radiology (IR) and/or neuro intervention

• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Philips monitoring equipment
