Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 33-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform routine med/surg procedures and assessments in accordance with unit standards
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Meditech electronic health records system
• Complete patient experience requirements including white board updates for each assigned patient
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, RNs, techs, and unit secretaries
• Participate in floating rotation as needed per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Solid foundational knowledge of med/surg nursing practices and procedures
• Ability to adhere to dress code: navy blue, black, royal blue, or gray scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented unit environment
