Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry (Night Shift)

• Olathe, KS

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to acute cardiac patients, including post-invasive procedures, chest pain management, and respiratory or infectious illnesses such as COVID and sepsis.
• Monitor patients using advanced cardiac and vital sign equipment, including GE heart monitors and Masimo vital sign machines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient stability and safety during high-acuity situations.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Tikosyn and Sotalol under physician orders.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Respond effectively to patient emergencies and coordinate necessary interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Experience with TR band and cardiac monitoring systems
• At least 1 year of RN hospital experience
• Willingness to obtain a BSN within 5 years (BSN preferred)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac care units
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
