Registered Nurse – Telemetry

• Full-time, nights shift, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized cardiac care to adult patients, including post-invasive procedures, chest pain, and acute illnesses such as COVID, sepsis, alcohol withdrawal, and medication management.
• Monitor patient status using GE heart monitors and Masimo vital sign machines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes on a 3-unit, 59-bed facility with an average census of 45 beds.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Support unit operations and patient safety through diligent nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 and 1-2 patient care techs per unit.
• Adhere to unit policies and procedures, including certification requirements and continuous professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kansas RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Experience with TR band procedures preferred
• Minimum of 1 year hospital RN experience
• Willingness to obtain a BSN within 5 years (preferred but not required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree highly preferred
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and post-invasive care
• Knowledge of hospital monitoring equipment and cardiac protocols
