Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, nights shift (12 hours per shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized cardiac nursing care to adult patients primarily recovering from invasive cardiac procedures, chest pain, or acute illnesses such as COVID-19, sepsis, and alcohol withdrawal.
• Monitor patient cardiac status utilizing GE heart monitors and Masimo vital sign machines.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist with initiating and titrating medications such as Tikosyn and Sotalol.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kansas RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification
• 1 year of hospital RN experience
• TR band experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred but not required; willingness to obtain BSN within 5 years accepted
• Experience working with acute cardiac patients or in telemetry units
