Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36–48 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients in a 16-bed high-acuity Medical Intensive Care Unit.

• Demonstrate high levels of professional competency in critical care nursing practice.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Maintain a safe, secure, and patient-centered care environment.

• Participate in holiday coverage as required and rotate every other weekend.

• Float to other units or facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or a valid compact license — no temporary licenses accepted.

• Active Nursys verification required.

• AHA ACLS certification.

• AHA BLS certification.

• AHA NIH Stroke Scale or Red Cross equivalent certification.

• Minimum of 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional licensure, with at least 1 year of recent ICU specialty experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification (required if assigned to a pediatric unit).

• Experience with Meditech EMR.

• 2 or more years of ICU or critical care nursing experience.
