Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5 x 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans in an outpatient therapy setting

• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising therapist

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing

• Prior experience in a physical therapy setting

• Ability to meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to start

• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation platforms

• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
