- Full-time, contract, 13 weeks minimum, primarily daytime shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in general, orthopedic, ENT, OBGYN, podiatry, urology, and dental surgeries
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures
- Ensure sterile techniques and maintain sterile field during surgeries
- Support surgical team before, during, and after procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter training
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Must remain within 30 minutes of the facility when on-call
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred
- Experience in multiple surgical specialties

Note: All shifts are 8 hours long, Monday through Friday, with some variation based on case load. On-call responsibilities are approximately one night per every two weeks, plus weekend and holiday rotations.
