Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10-hour shifts, Weekdays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to radiation oncology patients in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Coordinate oncology patient care with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team members
- Communicate effectively with the care team through both written and verbal channels
- Deliver care to patients across varying age groups, developmental stages, and cultural backgrounds
- Apply current knowledge of evidence-based oncology, immunology, pharmacology, and community health practices
- Support chronic illness and comorbidity management within the oncology setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado, in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Oncology nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience as an RN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current knowledge of the latest trends, procedures, and protocols in hematology/oncology and internal medicine practice
- Familiarity with tumor-genetic profiling and advanced radiation treatment modalities
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated flexibility in a clinical environment
