Contract | Night Shift | 36 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 77-bed Medical Unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8 on nights
• Operate and manage equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Work various shift lengths and days as required; flexibility is essential
• Follow professional nursing attire dress code and adhere to department-specific protocols
• Float to additional units as needed, including a Cardiovascular Unit and a general medical unit
• Complete unit-specific orientation program prior to independent assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience (up to 10 years preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception prior to contract start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR systems
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with chest tube and wound vac management
