X-ray / Radiology Technician

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide quality patient care during imaging procedures.
• Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment and uphold radiation safety standards.
• Assist with additional departmental duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-ray or Radiology Technician.
• Current NY state license or proof of application with applied date (allowing 6-8 weeks for processing).
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital or outpatient imaging center.
• Ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation, with personal or rental vehicle recommended; vehicle should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during winter months.
