Registered Nurse – Outpatient Urology

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–16:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with urology procedures including cystoscopies, vasectomies, and urodynamics testing
• Conduct suprapubic and foley catheter changes and bladder installations
• Perform bladder scanning and post-void residual (PVR) assessments
• Carry out nurse visits and provide direct patient care in an outpatient urology clinic setting
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in urology and outpatient clinic nursing
• Demonstrated hands-on experience performing urodynamics tests (not just assisting)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting
• 2 professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an outpatient or procedural urology environment
