Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (flexibility to 3:30 PM may be required) | On-Call 1–2 times per week and potentially on weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulator duties in the operating room across a variety of surgical cases including ENT (pediatric, geriatric, and bariatric), urology, gynecology, general surgery, and smaller orthopedic procedures (shoulder, knee, and hip).
• Provide nursing care utilizing the full nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned surgical patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education; identify issues and connect with available resources.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the AHA.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the AHA.
• Minimum 1 year of operating room nursing experience with demonstrated circulator competency; must be ready to practice independently from day one.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including ENT, urology, gynecology, general surgery, and orthopedics.
• Comfort working in a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio environment within a fast-paced surgical setting.
