Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-call and weekend rotation required (on-call or lates 1–3 times per week; every 3rd to 4th weekend, Friday through Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex perioperative nursing care utilizing the full nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned surgical patients across a diverse range of cases including Pain, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Podiatry, General Surgery, and Orthopedics
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatment plans
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner
• Assess patient and family learning needs; provide education and identify appropriate resources
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to effectively manage the clinical situation in the OR setting

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Operating Room or surgical nursing specialty
• Ability to work on-call shifts and rotating weekend call coverage
• Ability to float between campuses within the same health system as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical cases and a broad range of surgical specialties including Urology, Gynecology, and Orthopedics
• Familiarity with scrub and circulator roles across multi-specialty OR environments
