Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and/or language therapy services to a predominantly Native American population, encompassing inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assess, interpret evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages, from birth through geriatrics.
• Conduct specialized evaluations, including swallowing assessments (VFSS/MBS, FEES), cognitive, voice, pediatric speech/language, and feeding therapy.
• Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and service termination in electronic health records.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on therapeutic procedures and home programs to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Valid, unrestricted state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the United States.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with diverse populations and rehabilitation in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Knowledge of specialty assessments such as VFSS, FEES, and assistive technology evaluations.
