Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment | On-call required some weekdays and weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care within a 3-room interventional cardiac cath lab environment
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, complex PCIs, and peripheral cases
- Support procedures involving Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, and occasional device placements
- Collaborate with a team of RNs and cardiovascular technologists maintaining a 3-staff-per-room ratio
- Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR
- Respond to call-back requests and report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab
- Proficiency with GE X-ray and MacLab equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Professional conduct with strong attendance reliability
- Ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume cath lab managing complex cases
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Easygoing, collaborative personality well-suited to a busy team-oriented lab setting
