Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized labor and delivery patient care in a high-volume hospital unit.
- Assist with procedures such as C-sections, inductions, and high-risk deliveries, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN monitors to monitor patient status.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Adhere to unit protocols and policies, including oxytocin and EMR usage, to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Kansas or applicable compact state.
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications.
- Experience with high-risk L&D scenarios and C-section procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulating nurse experience for C-sections.
- High-risk labor and delivery experience.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and advanced obstetric equipment.
