Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, including high-risk labor, C-sections, antepartum, and postpartum patients
- Maintain patient ratios in accordance with unit guidelines (e.g., 1:1 for high-risk labor and C-sections; 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium)
- Perform and assist with unit procedures including C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler monitoring
- Operate unit equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN (GE) monitors
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
- Collaborate within a team nursing model to support unit staffing needs and fellow nursing staff
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- EFM-C or AWHONN certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience circulating C-sections
- High-risk LDR (Labor, Delivery, and Recovery) experience
