Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to newborn patients in a busy Level IV NICU setting.
  • Monitor and assess neonates' conditions, administering treatments and medications as prescribed.
  • Perform procedures such as IV therapy, whole body cooling, PDA ligations, and chest tube insertions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support family-centered care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
  • Support a team environment with excellent communication and developmental supportive care practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year current acute care NICU hospital experience.
  • BLS and NRP certifications.
  • Active Kansas licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Level IV NICU experience.
  • Prior experience with Meditech electronic health record systems.
  • Experience working in large teaching hospitals or facilities.
