Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Major Holidays Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting under a night shift schedule
- Monitor and manage high-acuity patients requiring intermediate-level nursing interventions
- Administer and manage high-acuity drip medications as indicated by patient condition
- Assist with and monitor arterial lines and non-invasive respiratory support equipment
- Float to lesser acuity units as needed based on staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of PCU/Step-Down RN experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Must be able to comply with a nicotine-free facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing high-acuity drip medications
- Arterial line experience
- BiPAP/Airvo experience
